Yakuun is one of the larger private motor vessels in the world at 65m in length.
TOG painted Yaakun at the slipway of Titan Marine during the winter of 2007. This was TOG biggest scaffolding and tenting job to date and involved custom made heaters to keep the environment at a suitable temperature to paint. Some 700m of shrink wrap was used to enclose the 5 levels of scaffolding and roof. This structure survived the July hurricane needing only minor repairs and no delay to the schedule.
Prior to the painting commencing, the hull had extensive panel deflection and dents - some of which required replacement alloy section being welded in place - that needed filling and fairing using Awlfair.
Yaakun's Hull Topsides changed colour from Matterhorn White to Light Grey using Awlgrip Paint. The new look completely modernized the appearance of the vessel.
